Why must I give the whole budget on a staged job?

The worker's least pay depends on everything the job will cost, materials included. Say your whole budget and we show the least pay for it. Anything that is not pay counts as materials. Pay must reach 10% of the first ₦500,000 of materials and 5% of the rest.

For a ₦23,500,000 budget, the pay must be at least ₦1,142,858. The stages are the pay, and the budget must cover the stages and the materials list.

The whole budget is not held. Only the first stage is held when you post, and each next stage when the last one is paid. Only you and our team see the figure.

STEP BY STEP

  1. Step 1: On Pay and time, tap Staged job, then type the Whole budget for this job, materials included.

  2. Step 2: Read the line that says the least pay for this budget, then add stages that come to at least that.

  3. Step 3: If you and the worker later agree more than the budget allows, the figure on your job rises to match. It never goes down, and no extra money is held because of it.
