What is a staged job, and how do I post one?
A staged job is for big work with parts that finish one after another, like building a house or installing solar. You name the stages and give each one its pay and how many weeks it should take. There are 2 to 12 stages, and one person is hired.
Only the first stage is held when you post. Each next stage is held from your wallet when the last one is paid. The worker adds new photos and a note for each stage, and you have 72 hours to check it. If you say nothing, half is paid then and the other half after 7 days. If you report a problem, only that stage is frozen; stages already paid stay paid.
STEP BY STEP
Step 1: On Pay and time, under What kind of work is it?, tap Staged job.
Step 2: Type the Whole budget for this job, materials included. We show the least pay for that budget.
Step 3: Name each stage, add its pay and the weeks it should take. Tap Add a stage for more. The total shows at the bottom.
Step 4: Each stage, check the worker's photos and note, then tap Confirm and release. The next stage is then held from your wallet.
Step 5: If your wallet is short, the job shows a warning. Fund the next stage within 7 days, or the job pauses.
