Spotting a scam

Nobody from Gikswork will ever ask for your password, your PIN or the code we text you.

Be careful of anyone who asks you to pay or talk outside the app, sends links to log in, or pushes you to hurry.

STEP BY STEP

   Step 1: Keep every conversation in Chats. Messages that try to move you to WhatsApp, a phone call or a bank transfer are removed, so treat that as a warning sign.

   Step 2: If someone asks for your code, your PIN or to pay outside the app, stop replying. Then tap the flag at the top of the chat.

   Step 3: Pick Tried to scam me, or Asked me to pay or talk outside Gikswork, and say what happened.

   Step 4: Switch on Also block so they cannot message you again, then tap Send report.

   Step 5: If you already paid outside the app, report it anyway. Our team looks, but outside payments are not protected.
