How do I choose a one-off job, staged job or ongoing work, and when the worker is paid?

Pick One-off job for work done once: the worker is paid when you confirm it at the end. Pick Staged job for a big job with parts that finish one after another: you name each stage with its pay, and the worker is paid stage by stage. Pick Ongoing work for regular work, then Every week or Every month. The pay you type is for one week or one month.

For a staged job only the stage now running is held. A staged job hires one person, and you also say the whole budget, materials included.

For ongoing work only one period is held at a time, so you never lock up the whole agreement. You also choose how long it runs and what should be done each period.

STEP BY STEP

  1. Step 1: On Pay and time, under What kind of work is it?, tap One-off job, Staged job or Ongoing work.

  2. Step 2: For a staged job, type the whole budget, then name each stage with its pay and weeks. For ongoing work, under When is the worker paid?, pick Every week or Every month.

  3. Step 3: Under For how long?, pick a length, or No end date. Then tap + Add something to deliver for each thing due every period, up to 10.

  4. Step 4: Under How long will it take?, pick A few hours, 1 day, 2 to 7 days, 1 to 4 weeks or Custom, and set When should it start?
