Why do I need to verify my ID?

Employers want to know who is coming to their home or business. So you check your NIN or BVN once, with your date of birth, through EscrowPay. There is no selfie. The name on your ID must match the name on your account, and you also add a bank account in your own name.

This confirms who you are. It is not a police or background check. It is free: Gikswork pays for it. You do it once.

STEP BY STEP

   Step 1: The check starts when you accept your first offer. To do it earlier, open My profile and tap ID not checked yet.

   Step 2: Pick NIN or BVN.

   Step 3: Type the number and your date of birth. Dial *346# to see your NIN or *565*0# to see your BVN.

   Step 4: Add your bank account, in your own name. Money you are paid goes there.

   Step 5: Tap Check and continue. When it passes, you go back to where you were, such as the offer you were accepting.
