Why am I asked for a guarantor and next of kin?
For work inside people's homes, we ask once for two people who know you: a guarantor and your next of kin, with a name and phone number each. You also tick a declaration that you have never been convicted of a crime.
It is free and you do it once. Nothing is sent to them, and employers never see these details. Our team uses them only if something goes wrong on a job. The two must be different people with different numbers, and not your own number.
STEP BY STEP
Step 1: When you accept a home job for the first time, the app opens People who know you.
Step 2: Under YOUR GUARANTOR, fill in Guarantor's full name and Guarantor's phone number.
Step 3: Under YOUR NEXT OF KIN, fill in their full name and relationship, and their phone number. Use a Nigerian number.
Step 4: Tick the declaration, then tap Save and accept the job.
