Where is the money in my wallet kept?

Every naira you add to your Gikswork wallet is held in escrow, secured by EscrowPay, not by Gikswork. It stays there until it leaves Gikswork: when a worker withdraws their pay, when materials money is sent to a worker's bank, or when you take back money you did not use.

Your money is not Gikswork's to spend. It moves only for a job, a fee, a refund or a withdrawal, as the terms say.

Moving money inside Gikswork has no transfer charge. The 10% Gikswork fee on a worker's pay still applies.

   Step 1: Open Wallet. The amounts you see are held in escrow for you until you use them or withdraw them.

   Step 2: When you hire someone, the job's pay moves from your wallet into the job. The worker is paid only when you confirm the work, or when the time to check runs out.
