How do I confirm my phone number?

We ask for your phone the first time you do something real: posting a job, applying, accepting an offer or withdrawing. Type a Nigerian mobile number and we text you a 6 digit code. The code ends in 10 minutes.

You can ask for a new code after 60 seconds, up to 5 times an hour. One number can only be on one account. Never share this code with anyone, not even someone who says they are from Gikswork.

STEP BY STEP

   Step 1: When the app asks, or from Settings, Account, tap your phone row. You can also tap Confirm your phone number on Home.

   Step 2: Type your number in Phone number, like 0803 123 4567, and tap Send the code.

   Step 3: Type the 6 digit code from the text message. Many phones fill it in for you, and it confirms by itself.

   Step 4: No text? Wait for the timer, then tap Send the code again. Typed the wrong number? Tap Wrong number? Change it.
