Why does a job say Needs the skill, and how do I add a skill?

You can only apply for your own skills. A job marked Needs the skill is for a kind of work that is not on your profile, so the Apply button does not show.

If it really is your work, add it to your skills and then apply. You can add up to 5 skills on top of your main one. When all 5 are used, change one on your profile first. Cleaning, laundry and errands are open to everyone, whatever your skill.

   Step 1: On Jobs near you, a card that says Needs the skill shows Add this skill instead of See job.

   Step 2: Open the job. Under it you see which skill it needs. Tap Add a skill.

   Step 3: On Anything else you do?, search for the skill and tap it. You can pick up to 5.

   Step 4: Tap Continue to save. Go back to the job and apply.
